Service Description
GFC treatment or Growth Factor Concentrate therapy, is a hair treatment that takes growth factors from your own blood and injects them into your scalp. This helps revive your hair follicles and encourages them to grow new hair. It's like giving your hair a natural boost to make it thicker and healthier. In this treatment, a small amount of your blood is taken, and the growth factors are separated. These growth factors are then applied to your scalp. They work by waking up your hair follicles, encouraging hair growth, making it thicker, and improving its overall health. GFC Hair Treatment Procedure: The Growth Factor Concentrate treatment or GFC hair treatment procedure is non-invasive and straightforward. The GFC hair treatment involves three main stages: 1. Blood Collection: Initially, a small amount of blood is drawn by a Registered Nurse, typically from your arm, similar to a regular blood test. 2. Growth Factors: The collected blood is then left to stand for 30 minutes before being processed through a Centrifuge for 10 minutes to extract the growth factors essential for the treatment. 3. Inject Treatment Area: These growth factors are carefully injected into the areas of your scalp that need treatment using tiny micro-injections that target the hair roots. The GFC Treatment procedure usually takes about 1 hour, depending on how many areas of your scalp are being treated. Most patients experience minimal to no pain during the GFC treatment. The recovery period after the GFC treatment is typically very short. Some patients may report a mild headache or slight discomfort immediately after treatment, but these effects usually last only about an hour. This treatment is generally well-tolerated and involves minimal discomfort, making it a popular choice for those seeking hair rejuvenation. GFC usually works best in people who have started noticing their hair thinning in the last few years and for best results 4-6 treatments are usually recommended 4-6 weeks apart. Once you have reached a level you are happy with top ups can be made every 6-12 months. Once the results appear, patients will need follow-up visits every 6 to 12 months to maintain and boost the effects of the treatment. Although the solution is not permanent, it can definitely offer long-lasting results.
