What happens next?

Step 1 — Comprehensive Hair Consultation

We take the time to understand your hair loss history, medical history, lifestyle and treatment goals. A detailed scalp assessment helps us identify possible contributing factors and discuss the treatment options that may be suitable for you.

Step 2 — Personalised Treatment Plan

Based on your consultation, we’ll explain the options available to you. This may include natural hair support, prescription medication, compounded medication following assessment by a prescribing medical practitioner, or advanced hair restoration treatments. Your plan is tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Step 3 — Medical Prescribing ConsultationIf prescription medication is considered suitable, you’ll have a separate consultation with our authorised prescribing medical practitioner. They will review your medical history, current medications and overall health to determine whether prescription treatment is appropriate and, where suitable, prescribe the medication best suited to you.

Step 4 — Prescription, Delivery & Ongoing Support

Once approved, your prescription is prepared by our specialist compounding pharmacy and delivered directly to you. We continue to support you with regular reviews to monitor your progress and adjust your treatment or medication strength when appropriate.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN TREATMENT

Important information for your safety and results

1. Long-Term Treatment

Prescription hair loss medications are generally intended for ongoing, long-term use. If treatment is stopped, the benefits may gradually reduce over time and hair loss may return to its natural progression.

2. Topical Medication
Some clients using topical prescription solutions may experience mild scalp irritation, dryness, redness or itching, particularly during the early stages of treatment.

If you experience ongoing irritation or any unexpected symptoms, please stop using the product and contact the Hair Again team. We can assess your symptoms and discuss the most appropriate next step.

3. Medical Supervision
All prescription hair loss medications require a comprehensive consultation and approval by our authorised prescribing medical practitioner before treatment can begin.

Before any prescription is issued, the expected benefits, potential risks, possible side effects and your individual suitability will be discussed with you.

4. Ongoing Support

We are here to support you throughout your treatment journey. If you have any questions, concerns or changes in your health while using your medication, please contact our clinic.Regular reviews may be recommended to monitor your progress, assess how you are responding and ensure your treatment continues to remain appropriate for you

5. Results Vary

Every person’s hair loss is different, and individual results can vary. Outcomes may be influenced by the underlying cause of hair loss, genetics, overall health, consistency with treatment and other individual factors. While many clients may experience positive improvements, no hair loss treatment can guarantee a specific result.
