What is PRP?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a natural treatment that uses a concentrated form of your own blood plasma, rich in growth factors, to help stimulate hair follicles, improve scalp health and support new hair growth.

In hair restoration, PRP is used to support existing follicles, improve the scalp environment and help maintain or improve hair quality in suitable clients.

A small amount of your blood is taken, processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma, and then carefully injected into targeted areas of the scalp. The growth factors in PRP may help to activate dormant follicles, prolong the growth phase of hair and could improve hair density over time.
PRP cannot create new hair follicles where follicles are no longer present, and results vary from person to person.

Your Treatment Journey
Hair loss is in most cases a progressive condition. Follicles miniaturise gradually before they stop producing hair, and that process cannot be reversed once a follicle is lost. The goal of treatment is therefore to slow progression and strengthen the follicles that are still active.

Your journey begins with a private consultation where we discuss your concerns, hair-loss history, previous treatments and goals. We assess your hair and scalp, including magnified images where appropriate, and explain what we are seeing.
2. Your Detailed Consultation Summary
Following your consultation, we send you a comprehensive written summary, including your assessment findings, relevant hair and scalp images, the options discussed, recommended next steps and treatment pricing. This gives you time to review everything properly before deciding how you would like to proceed.
If you decide to proceed with an in-clinic treatment, we send you our medical questionnaire.
This covers your health history, medications and other information needed to assess treatment suitability.
4. Medical Questionnaire Review
We review your completed questionnaire before confirming treatment.
If anything requires clarification or further medical information, we will contact you before your appointment is booked.
5. Book Your In-Clinic Treatment
Once suitability has been confirmed, we arrange your treatment appointment and confirm what to expect before you arrive.
6. Your Treatment Appointment
Most in-clinic treatments take approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on the treatment and area being treated. We explain each stage throughout your appointment.
7. Aftercare & Ongoing Support
Before you leave, we provide clear aftercare instructions, explain what to expect following treatment and discuss any recommended follow-up, review or next treatment.
Depending on your hair-loss concerns and treatment plan, ongoing maintenance, annual treatments or follow-up appointments may be recommended to help support results and monitor progress over time.
