1. About Hair Again Clinic

Hair Again Clinic is a trichology-led hair loss and scalp clinic located at 761 Beach Road, Browns Bay, Auckland. Throughout these terms, “Hair Again Clinic”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Hair Again Clinic. “You” and “client” refer to the person using our website, booking a service or purchasing from us.

2. Our Scope of Practice

Hair Again Clinic provides trichology assessments, non-surgical hair-restoration treatments, hair and scalp support, home-care products and assistance with accessing independent medical and pharmacy services where appropriate.Hair Again Clinic is not a medical practice, and our trichologists and beauty therapists are not medical doctors. A trichology assessment does not replace medical diagnosis, medical investigation or treatment from your GP, dermatologist or another qualified healthcare professional. We may recommend that you consult your GP or another medical professional if your hair loss, scalp concern, health history or symptoms require medical investigation or fall outside our scope of practice. If you experience sudden or unexplained hair loss, significant scalp inflammation, signs of infection or other concerning symptoms, you should seek advice from an appropriate medical professional.

3. Consultations and Assessments

Our consultations are intended to assess your hair and scalp within the scope of trichology and to discuss options that may be appropriate for you. A consultation does not guarantee that you will be considered suitable for a particular treatment, product or medication pathway. Recommendations are based on the information available at the time of your assessment.

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information about your:

  • Medical conditions and health history

  • Current and previous medications

  • Allergies and sensitivitiesPregnancy or breastfeeding status

  • Previous hair or scalp treatments

  • Recent changes to your health or hair loss

  • Relevant blood-test results or medical advice

Please notify us if any of this information changes before or during your treatment programme. We may decline, postpone or discontinue a consultation or treatment if we believe it is unsafe, unsuitable, outside our scope of practice or unlikely to provide a meaningful benefit.Clients under 18 must have the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Treatment Suitability and Results

Hair-loss treatments do not provide identical results for every person. Outcomes may be influenced by age, genetics, the cause and duration of hair loss, general health, medications, hormonal or nutritional factors, treatment consistency and adherence to recommended home care.We will provide honest guidance about likely suitability and realistic expectations.

However, we cannot guarantee:

  • New hair growth

  • A particular level of improvement

  • A specific treatment response

  • That shedding or hair loss will stop

  • That results will be permanent

  • That photographs or results from another client will reflect your outcome

Some clients may experience limited improvement or no noticeable improvement despite completing the recommended treatment programme.

Before-and-after photographs, testimonials and client experiences are individual examples only and are not guarantees of future results.

5. Treatment Risks and Aftercare

All treatments and products may have potential risks, side effects, limitations or contraindications. These will be discussed where relevant before treatment. You must follow the preparation and aftercare instructions provided by the clinic. Failure to follow these instructions may affect your comfort, safety or results. Please contact us promptly if you experience an unexpected reaction following a treatment. Hair Again Clinic does not provide emergency medical care. If you experience a severe or urgent reaction, seek immediate medical assistance or call 111.We may modify or stop a treatment plan if your health, scalp condition, medication or circumstances change.

6. Blood-Derived and Regenerative Treatments

Treatments such as PRP, PRF, GFC and Regenera Activa® require an individual suitability assessment. These treatments are intended to support suitable, functioning hair follicles. They may not be appropriate where follicles are no longer viable, where hair loss is advanced or where an underlying health or scalp condition has not been appropriately investigated. The number and timing of sessions discussed with you is a recommended plan rather than a guarantee of results. Additional maintenance or supporting treatments may be recommended depending on your response.

7. Prescription and Compounded-Medication Support

Hair Again Clinic may help suitable clients access an independent doctor and compounding pharmacy.

Hair Again Clinic does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or dispense compounded prescription medication.

All prescribing decisions are made independently by the consulting doctor.

Completing our assessment process or paying for a medical consultation does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed.

You must provide the doctor and clinic with complete and accurate medical information.

The doctor may decline to prescribe, recommend another option or request further medical information.

Doctor consultation fees are for the doctor’s professional time and remain payable regardless of whether a prescription is issued.

These fees may be paid directly to the doctor or collected as otherwise explained at the time of booking.

Where a prescription is approved:

  • The prescription is issued by the independent doctor.

  • The medication is compounded and supplied by an independent pharmacy.

  • Hair Again Clinic does not hold or dispense prescription medication. The pharmacy may contact you or the prescriber if further information is required.

  • Medication production and delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary. You must use the medication only as prescribed. You must promptly report side effects or health changes to the prescribing doctor.

  • Dose changes and repeat prescriptions require appropriate medical approval.

Some medications used to support hair loss may be prescribed “off-label”. The prescribing doctor will determine whether a requested medication is appropriate and discuss relevant risks, benefits and monitoring.Dispensed prescription medication generally cannot be returned or resold once supplied, except where required by law or where the pharmacy confirms that an error or product fault has occurred.
