Regenera Activa is an autologous regenerative treatment used to manage hair loss and selected forms of alopecia in both men and women. This therapy is designed to address follicular dysfunction by enhancing the biological environment of the scalp and supporting long-term hair follicle viability. The process is minimally invasive and involves 3 steps 1) Harvesting graft tissue (around 2.5ml) using a small biopsy tool, usually from the nape of the neck 2) Treating the harvested samples to a filtration process which extract the most concentrated growth factors, stem cell precursors and progenitor cells 3) Injecting the cells to the area to be treated. Regenera Activa is beneficial in non-scarring alopecias such as androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern hair loss), as well as selected autoimmune-related conditions including Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Barbae, and Alopecia Totalis, where follicles remain structurally intact. By supporting the anagen (active growth) phase of the hair cycle and reducing follicular miniaturisation, treatment aims to decrease hair shedding, strengthen existing hair, and improve overall hair density over time.
