Service Description
Our professional scalp health assessment is designed for clients experiencing scalp concerns such as itching, flaking, scaling, dandruff, excessive oiliness, irritation, redness or suspected scalp dermatitis. During your consultation, we discuss your scalp symptoms, medical history, current medications, supplements, hair care routine and any factors that may be contributing to your scalp condition. We then perform a detailed scalp examination using a trichoscope to assess the scalp surface, hair follicles, sebum production, scaling, buildup and visible signs of inflammation or irritation. Following your assessment, we explain our findings and recommend a personalised scalp care plan, which may include targeted scalp treatments, specialised shampoos, home-care products or referral to a medical professional for further investigation where appropriate. Our aim is to help you understand your scalp concerns and support a healthier scalp environment. Please note: Our trichology assessment does not replace a medical diagnosis. Suspected medical scalp conditions may require assessment by a GP or dermatologist.
Cancellation Policy
We understand things happen and you may need to cancel your appointment. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you notify us 48 hours in advance. Should you not cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled treatment appointment then a $95 cancellation fee applies and will be applied. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time slot. We don't charge for consultations but if you do not cancel ahead of time or reschedule then we will require a booking fee on the next appointment.
